Cooled Thermotherapy

Cooled Thermotherapy is a procedure done in the physicians office. A small flexible catheter is inserted into the urethra. This catheter contains channels for circulating cooled fliud around an antenna that produces targeted heat within the prostate. The heat precisely targets the enlarged prostate causing destruction of the unwanted tissue. By eliminating the prostate tissue that is compressing the urethra, urine flow is restored and the patient receives long-lasting relief from BPH symptoms.
